The best AI-generated Fantasy Premier League team for Gameweek 1 of the 2023/24 campaign has emerged, featuring the likes of John Stones, Bryan Mbuemo and Gabriel Jesus.

We are just over two weeks away from this season's Premier League opener between Burnley and Manchester City, and many fans are making an early start when it comes to building their FPL team.

City forward Erling Haaland topped the points charts last season with a staggering 272 points. The Norwegian went on to lift the Golden Boot after scoring a record-breaking 36 goals.

Harry Kane [263 points], Mohamed Salah [239] and Martin Odegaard [212] also gathered some serious momentum throughout. But what about this season? Who will come out on top, especially during the opening stages?

Well, the guys at FantasyFootballHub have created an AI-generated team for Gameweek 1 using key data and stats.

It must be noted that this team isn't absolutely spot on when it comes to picks. Jason Steele, for example, will likely be Brighton's second-choice goalkeeper after they signed Bart Verbruggen for £16.3 million earlier this month.

But this squad, featuring Manchester United pair Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, should give you a rough template of who to include based on upcoming fixtures.

Brighton full-back Pervis Estupinan, who can be bought for just £5.0m, is a very popular pick, with the defender set to come up against Luton, Wolves and West Ham in his opening three fixtures.

Bryan Mbuemo of Brentford also features regularly. In fact, 23.3 per cent of users have selected the Cameroonian forward ahead of Gameweek 1.

Here is the AI-generated team in full:

Last week, a price reveal for Andre Onana led many Fantasy Premier League users to transfer the Manchester United goalkeeper into their team ahead of Gameweek 1.

Ahead of their opening day fixture against Wolves on August 14, the official price for Onana was revealed at £5.0m by the Fantasy Premier League website.

An FPL scout went on to recommend the transfer to users, saying: “The goalkeeper offers a cheaper route into the Man Utd defence than Luke Shaw [£5.5m], who is found in 34 per cent of squads.

"Erik ten Hag’s side kept a league-high 11 clean sheets at home last season and host Wolves and Nottingham Forest in the first three Gameweeks.”

How does your team look like ahead of the new campaign?
