Diogo Dalot has scored an absolute screamer in Manchester United’s pre-season tour against Borussia Dortmund.

The fullback opened the scoring for the Red Devils in their pre-season friendly against the German side.

The Portuguese star picked up the ball outside the area after a freekick was ricocheted out of the box to the waiting fullback.

Staying calm and getting the ball out from under his feet, the United number 20 curled a peach of an effort past Gregor Kobel and into the top corner.

It was a sign of the type of quality Dalot possesses as an attacking fullback and a good sign of what his season could look like this year.

United fans were more than excited of things to come from their right-back.

One wrote: "We should play Dalot more attacking then defensive honestly."

A second added: "What a goal from Dalot."

A third added: "I’m standing up applauding and waking the neighbours up for that one Dalot."

A fourth commented: "Too good to be a backup."
