QUIZ: Can you name the 20 players who have received the most red cards in Premier League history?

These players have received A LOT of reds in their time.

Prior to the 2022/23 season, a total of 1,713 red cards were shown since the beginning of the Premier League - an average of 57 red cards per season.

As of January 2023, Everton were the team with the most red cards in the division’s history, with 104 to their name.

Arsenal are in second with 103, with both teams having players in the top 20 list of most red cards in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, total of 24 players have seen red this season, with only Manchester United star Casemiro picking up more than one.

In terms of individual players, there are three players who have received a record eight red cards in Premier League history.

While those numbers may seem high, they aren’t quite comparable to Colombian footballer Gerardo Bedoya, who received an incredible 46 red cards during his professional career. The midfielder was once banned for 15 matches for one offence.
