All you need to know about Premier League football over the festive period.

The Premier League will finally return this weekend after an unprecedented six-week winter break.

The 2022-23 season was paused in the middle of November to accommodate the World Cup in Qatar.

Now that Argentina and Lionel Messi have been crowned champions, the Premier League season is set to resume on Boxing Day.

It is the start of a bumper festive period that will see top-flight clubs play three league matches is quick succession.
