Paul Pogba asked by fan if he's considering a move to Saudi Arabia

Paul Pogba asked by fan if he's considering a move to Saudi Arabia

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer.

A fan asked Paul Pogba about a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia during his recent visit to the Middle East.

The 30-year-old midfielder, who signed a four-year deal with Juventus last summer following his departure from Manchester United, has been strongly linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia.

Lots of speculation is emerging around a potential move. A report from transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio suggests Pogba has been offered a three-year contract worth €100 million by SPL champions Al Ittihad.

In fact, Pogba visited Al Ittihad's training ground last week, according to GOAL reporter Romeo Agresti.

It is, however, unclear if the midfielder intends to pursue the big-money move, although a conversation with a fan provided a fascinating insight into his current thought process.

As you can see in the footage above, Pogba is asked about a move to Saudi. “Who knows," the French midfielder replied. "Now, no. Today, no. Tomorrow, we don’t know.”

Then, when asked specifically if he would join Al Ittihad or Al Ahli, Pogba said: “I don’t know, we’ll see.”

If Pogba does decide to join Al Ittihad then he would join up with international teammates N'Golo Kante and Karim Benzema, who have both penned lucrative deals with the Saudi Pro League club.

But contrary to reports linking him a move to Nuno Espirito Santo's side, Fabrizio Romano has played down rumours with the below Twitter post.

He wrote: "Paul Pogba on Instagram after links with Saudi clubs — already denied by several sources close to Paul tonight."

In addition to Romano's comments, sources close to Pogba's entourage say he wants to stay at Juventus and was only in Saudi Arabia for personal and religious reasons, claim TuttoJuve.

Last month, Pogba's international teammate Karim Benzema announced that he would be leaving Real Madrid after 14 years to join Al Ittihad.

The French forward has signed a three-year deal with the team who finished five points clear of Ronaldo's Al Nassr side and will reportedly earn an incredible $643 million over that time.

That sum equates to £471,000 a day, £19,643 each hour and £327 every minute.
