Ousmane Dembele's Interview About His Strongest Foot Is An All-Time Classic

Ousmane Dembele's Interview About His Strongest Foot Is An All-Time Classic

Ousmane Dembele has signed a new Barcelona deal but he still doesn't know which is his strongest foot.

Ousmane Dembele is one of the most two-footed players in world football - so much so that he's not even sure which foot is stronger.

The France international's future at Barcelona has been up in the air for a while now but fresh reports say he has committed his future to the club and will sign a new two-year deal on a lower salary but with "a significant amount of incentives", as per SPORT.

His previous contract had expired on June 30 and he was therefore a free agent. But once the deal is finalised, Dembele will be able to start training again with the first-team and join the squad for the pre-season trip to the United States.

His stint at Barca has been a mixed bag and injuries have stunted his growth. Yet there's no denying that there's a wonderfully gifted footballer in Dembele and one who doesn't appear to have a weak foot.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger is equally as adept shooting or crossing with his right than he is with his left.

And in a interview when he was playing for Rennes in Ligue One, Dembele was unable to confirm which he prefers.

The reporter asked him if he was right or left-footed, to which he replied, "Hmm left-footed".

He was then asked to clarify, "Because you also shoot with your right foot" but then things got seriously confusing as Dembele added, "Yeah I'm more left-footed yeah".

Asked why he takes penalties with his right foot, Dembele perplexed again, saying, "Because I shoot better with my right foot".

Fair play if he is unsure himself but what is clear is that he has proved devastating with either foot and manager Xavi Hernandez will be hoping he kicks on in the upcoming season.

Dembele's main contenders for the unofficial two-footed king award would have to be Kevin De Bruyne and Santi Cazorla, who both spring to mind.

De Bruyne hit a stunning weak-footed hat-trick for Manchester City against Wolves in May, while Cazorla memorably took free-kicks and corners with either foot.
