Neymar joined Memphis Depay on Instagram live last night and spoke perfect English with the Dutchman.

The Barcelona forward has followed Neymar in becoming a Puma athlete after recently sporting the German sportswear brand's boots on his return to injury.

The former Lyon and Manchester United man scored the fourth in the 94th minute of a rout at the hands of Athletic Bilbao, wearing the ULTRA flare pack Puma boots.

He was then announced as the latest high-profile from Puma, who have made some serious moves in recent years.

Memphis jumped on Instagram live on his page and soon had Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar welcoming him to to the Puma family.

The two chatted while over 200,000 viewers tuned in and Neymar surprised plenty by speaking English.

The Brazilian sensation has never really spoken the language and no-one would really expect him to given he's never played in the Premier League.

But Neymar is fluent and had a good conversation with Memphis, stating how he likes Puma's "difference in style" and telling his friend to "Take care, I am very happy for you" and "Love you bro" after he said he the two would "link up" soon.

Never played or lived in England, still more fluent than Aguero and Firmino 💀 https://t.co/CCSbJeYkJ1

Barcelona FC star player - Memphis Depay joined PUMA and the first thing he did is to do a live video with his fellow PUMA global ambassadors; Davido and Neymar.

Proper ambassadors, Proper brand.
Boys talk, Men Work.

Neymar was sponsored by Nike for 15 years but ended that partnership two years ago to sign with Puma.

His English is clearly not too shabby but it's not quite on the level of his teammate Kylian Mbappe.

In April 2021, after scoring a brace for PSG in a 3-2 Champions League quarter final win over Bayern Munich, the World Cup impressed fans with his English-speaking skills.

The former Monaco man was just 22 at the time of the interview with BT Sport and it earned him a lot of admirers.
