Neymar leaves Brazil teammates stunned with outrageous touch to kill ball dead from 35 metres in the air

Neymar proved he has arguably the best first touch in world football by killing the ball dead when it was dropped from 35 metres in the air.

Neymar stunned his Brazil teammates by killing the ball dead when it was dropped from the sky.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar is preparing for the World Cup in Qatar, where he will be looking to move ahead of Selecao legend Pele as Brazil's record goalscorer.

Neymar has notched 75 goals and is just three away from overtaking Pele. Neymar remains the talisman of this exciting Brazil side and even his colleagues can't believe the ability he possesses.

In a new video posted online, Brazil stars took on an almighty touch challenge when a device holding a football was suspended a whopping 35 metres in the air.

Players were required to touch the ball down and it looked incredibly difficult. Neymar, however, did it with absolute ease.

The ball dropped as soon as a coach's whistle was blown and the former Barcelona man was looking up to the heavens.

He then trapped the ball perfectly while it was travelling at some pace and then provided further magic with a second touch with his knee.

Neymar finished by catching the ball and booting it back up in the air as his teammates mobbed him. Fans have been left in disbelief about the outrageous control displayed.

This is just normal service for Neymar, who does these things on a weekly basis. In August, the 30-year-old made an overhit Kylian Mbappe cross look good courtesy of an insane touch.

It happened against Monaco, Mbappe's former employers, and the Frenchman's cross was met with loud sighs.

It was right up in the sky and over Neymar's head but he watched it closely and then brought it down with absolute swagger.

Fan footage of the touch shows just how ridiculous it was, while a commentator covering the game was left amazed and conjured up a few strange noises as a result.

Has anyone got a better touch than Neymar in world football? We're not sure.
