Neymar produced an insane touch to kill the ball dead, the commentator lost his mind

Neymar's touch from an overhit Kylian Mbappe cross was a thing of beauty.

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar produced an insane touch to make a Kylian Mbappe cross look good on Sunday night.

The Ligue One champions dropped their first points of the season, drawing 1-1 with Monaco at the Parc des Princes.

Kevin Volland gave the visitors a shock lead but Neymar, who assumed penalty duties ahead of Mbappe, rescued a point with a coolly converted spot-kick in the second half.

The former Barcelona superstar has started the season on fire and scored twice and registered three assists in the 7-1 demolition of Lille last weekend.

He added to his tally against Monaco and also came up with a filthy touch. Mbappe had the ball on the right but got his contact all wrong and overhit it massively, leading to loud sighs from the home fans.

It was a deep one that went right across the 18-yard box and flew into the sky and over Neymar's head.

But the Brazilian, being the magician he is, watched the ball closely and then conjured up the sauciest take-down you will ever see.

He well and truly killed the ball over and started dribbling inside like it was the easiest thing in the world. Fan footage from the stands helps you appreciate the beauty of it.

A commentator who was describing the game live lost his mind and let out a few weird noises.

The touch summed up everything about Neymar as a player, an absolute showman who never ceases to amaze.

There were a few notable incidents in PSG's draw, including Mbappe missing an open goal from six yards out and Lionel Messi looking extremely unhappy over being substituted for Pablo Sarabia in the 87th minute.

Christophe Galtier's side will look to get back to winning ways on Wednesday when they take on Toulouse away from home.
