Newcastle United are reportedly prepared to pay one of their top transfer targets a whopping £12 million-a-year contract to land him in January.
The Magpies have been linked with a number of star players since their mega Saudi-backed £305 million takeover.

With the winter transfer window approaching, the club are circling for new talent in a bid to stay in the Premier League this season.
Real Madrid's Eden Hazard, Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele and Burnley's James Tarkowski have been reported as transfer targets.
Newcastle are also keeping tabs on Aaron Ramsey, who is thought to be surplus to requirements at Juventus.

And, according to reports, the Premier League side are believed to be willing to meet the player's hefty wage demands.
Italian outlet Tuttosport say Newcastle would be happy to accept Ramsey's request of £12 million per year.
The Welshman left Arsenal to join Juventus in 2019, penning a four-year contract.

He's only played five games in all competitions this season, with his future appearing to lie elsewhere ahead of the January transfer window.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Ramsey, but it appears Newcastle are leading the race to bring him back to England's top flight.
