Willian Deals With Transfer Rumours In The Best Way Possible

That's one way to shoot down rumours

Willian may currently be facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, with the Chelsea midfielder being linked with a plethora of moves away from the Premier League champions, but the Brazilian is proving to have no time for reporters spreading rumours about him returning to Brazil or potentially moving to China.

The former Shakhtar Donetsk attacker has been out of sorts this season, finding the net just once in 18 games and contributing several under par performances to boot, leading to much criticism from the Stamford Bridge faithful.

The 29-year-old has often been seen as an underappreciated part of the Blues' squad, yet Antonio Conte's changes to his system this season have seen the Brazil international reduced to a role on the substitutes' bench.

This marginalising by Conte has led some football writers to report that Willian has been in negotiations with Brazilian giants Palmeiras.

Yet this was news to Willian who, rather brilliantly, explained to both reporters that they couldn't be more wrong (steady on, Chandler Bing).

Willian's first response read, "Hello Sandro, all right? Sorry, but I'm not negotiating with Palmeiras and my agent has received no contact from the Club. I have no plans to return to Brazil right now. A hug!" while his second message read, "Hi Juca, all right? Sorry, but I don't have the goal of returning to Brazil and never spoke, nor my Representative, with no one. This is nothing but speculation. A big hug!"

Has a footballer ever offered a reporter a hug for getting a story about them wrong before? All that's missing is a couple of 'U OK hun? X's to make the messages complete.
