Regardless of who you support, it's impossible not to think Juan Mata is one of the nicest people on the planet. The Spanish playmaker is the toast of the Manchester United support this afternoon after scoring their side's winner against Norwich in the early English Premier League kick-off.
It was a tight game at Carrow Road between two teams with plenty at stake. Norwich are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the Premier League and would have been eyeing a win which could have potentially taken them out of the relegation zone.
While Manchester United needed a victory to continue putting the pressure on fourth-placed Manchester City as they battle for a Champions League place. Thanks to Mata, it was United, and not Norwich, who were left celebrating at the end of the game as he ran on to Wayne Rooney's pass in the box to slam home the winner.

You could understand if the Spaniard had clapped the fans before heading straight down the tunnel to celebrate with his team-mates at full-time. But not Mata - he went straight for the travelling supporters and even made a young boy's day by talking to him and then taking a picture:
What a brilliant gesture from Mata - and one the young fan will definitely never forget.
Now it's on to Tuesday for Mata and Manchester United as they'll look to ruin an emotional night for West Ham as they bid farewell to Upton Park in the final game at the stadium.
