Tahith Chong's Individual Highlights vs LASK Prove He Could Have A Bright Future At Left-Back

Many have praised the efforts of Tahith Chong after the youngster impressed at left-back in Manchester United's Europa League round of 16 clash against Austrian side LASK.

The 20-year-old, known mostly for his attacking and direct style of play since arriving from Feyenoord's youth system in 2016, has struggled to cement a place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first team plans.

But in Wednesday night's tie at Old Trafford, the inexperienced Chong was handed a defensive role by his manager and he didn't look out of place.

In fact, for the majority of his 22 minute spell on the pitch, he flourished in the left-back position, providing United with pace and power in wide areas. You can check out his highlights below.

Despite his encouraging performance in the Europa League, Chong has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent months.

And shortly after the full-time whistle against LASK, the player's agent confirmed that Chong wants an exit, with Werden Bremen reportedly interested in taking him out on loan.

"Tahith would like to go to the Bundesliga. We'll talk to Manchester United about it on Thursday," Alkan told Bild.
