Phil Foden Makes Football Look So Easy And A Lionel Messi-Esque Run Against PSG Proves That

Manchester City's Phil Foden did his best Lionel Messi impression on Tuesday night when he ran through Paris Saint-Germain's midfield with a quite magnificent individual run.

The England international, who has played a key part in the club's impressive season, troubled Mauricio Pochettino's side throughout the opening 45 minutes with his trickery and movement.

And in the 40th minute, Foden recieved the ball from Bernardo Silva in the middle of the park before skipping past Leandro Paredes with a sublime flick.

He then drove towards the penalty area and found Oleksandr Zinchenko on the left wing with a cutting pass.

Foden, who completed three take-ons in the first half against the Ligue 1 champions - more than anyone on the pitch - impressed plenty of fans in the Champions League semi-final clash.

Here's just a handful of comments from social media.

Manchester City opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Riyad Mahrez cooly converted past Keylor Navas in the PSG goal.

Pep Guardiola's continued to dominate throughout the first half and into the second as that man Foden caused plenty of problems in attacking areas.
