Napoli are in advanced discussions with luxury fashion designer Giorgio Armani over a potential kit deal, according to reports in Italy.
The Serie A club's current deal with Italian sponsor Kappa is set to expire at the end of the season and, while a number of brands have been hovering over a potential collaboration, it looks like Armani are in the driving seat, according to CalcioNapoli24.
In fact, the report suggests negotiations between the EA7 department of the Armani brand and those behind the scenes at Napoli are at a "good point" as rumours continue to swirl over who will be Gli Azzurri's next kit supplier in 2021/22.

It is believed the Italian club, who currently sit in fourth place in the Serie A ladder with one game to play, are keen on signing a short-term one-year deal with the fashion brand before eventually going on to produce their own in-house kits.
A concept kit of the potential EA7 and Giorgio Armani has already been created by graphic designer Manuel Guardasole for CalcioNapoli24, based on existing products.
The latest rumour surrounding Armani comes just a month after Napoli debuted their special edition Marcelo Burlon kit during a Serie A clash against Inter Milan.

Current sponsors Kappa described the kit as a "celebratory collection for the team, created to convey the culture, the tradition and all the internationality of Naples and its football team through Marcelo Burlon's vision and creative flair."
They added: "Catalyst and connector with an explosive creative force, Burlon brings his multicultural energy and reinterprets his most iconic visual message for this exceptional partnership, a metaphorical love letter to Naples: the city, the team and its passionate fans."
