Steven Fletcher Shows Off Horrific Head Wound

Steven Fletcher has only been a Sheffield Wednesday player for all of five minutes, but he already boasts scars that look like he's been in the wars.

The Scotland international was making his full competitive debut for Wednesday in Sunday's Championship match against promotion-chasing Aston Villa, and found himself involved in a sickening clash with Villa's Tommy Elphick.

Blood poured all over the turf, as fans and team-mates feared the worst for the stricken pair. Thankfully, neither were seriously injured, but it looks like Fletcher will be left with some marks to remember the game by, after showing off his scars on social media, yesterday:
