Djibril Sidibe Goes To Pull His Sock Up, Only To Realise His Sock Isn't On

Incredible scenes as the Frenchman prepared to enter the fray for Everton...

One of the most hilarious moments of the season happened in the early kick-off between Everton and Crystal Palace, as Djibril Sidibe forgot where his sock was.

The Frenchman was preparing to enter the fray for the hosts just before the half hour mark after Theo Walcott went down with an injury in the first half.

There he was, stripped, ready and good to go. However, as the former Monaco man went to pull up one of his socks, he realised that said sock wasn't actually there.

A fuming Carlo Ancelotti gave him an absolute death-stare and sent him back down the tunnel to the dressing room to get his second sock.

Gary Neville recently went mad over Wolves new boy Daniel Podence not being ready to come in the 0-0 draw against Manchester United a week ago, just how imagine how he would have reacted if today's game was on Sky Sports and he was on commentary?

Sidibe came on with Everton 1-0 up through Bernard's strike in the 18th minute. Christian Benteke equalised with a rare Premier League goal early on in the second half, before Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin struck to give the Toffees a 3-1 win at Goodison Park.
