Sergio Ramos Ends Ajax After They Mocked Him On Twitter

There's no recovering from this...

Sergio Ramos completely destroyed Ajax on Twitter after the Amsterdam club went after him.

Ajax decided to hark back to their 4-1 Champions League round of 16 thrashing of Real Madrid at the Bernabeu last year, when Ramos had purposely got himself suspended for the second leg.

And the Dutch outfit trolled Ramos by posting an image of him gesturing as he watched from the stands, along with a side-by-side image of Dusan Tadic celebrating his goal.

They captioned it with a waving emoji and the hashtag "#RetroMatchday".

But the Ajax admin might just regret composing that tweet because Ramos responded with four images of him and the Champions League trophy each time he won it, throwing in the hashtag "#RetroMatchday" for good measure.

Ajax weren't calling a day there, however. They commended him for his response but also elected to remind him that, like him, they too have lifted the European Cup on four occasions.

Real Madrid skipper Ramos is a mastery in shithousery and one of his favourite things to do while on the pitch is to try and end Lionel Messi's career.

It's over two minutes' worth of footage where Ramos is just levelling Messi with mistimed challenges, cynical kicks and flailing arm because clearly that's the only way he can possibly stop the Argentine whenever he's come up against him.

He literally does not win the ball in any of the above clips and regularly leaves Messi rolling around in agony.

Name a better pantomime villain? You can't.
