Sergino Dest's Kick-Ups At Barcelona Presentation Were Obviously Horrendous

Sergino Dest's Kick-Ups At Barcelona Presentation Were Obviously Horrendous

These presentations never seem to go well...

Sergino Dest has continued the trend of players having an absolute disastrous time during their official presentations.

The likes of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona absolutely love presenting their new players at their stadiums - part of their initiation being that they have to do kick-ups on the pitch in the full kit.

But bizarrely, every single one seems to go pear-shaped and Dest, a €26 million signing from Ajax, was the latest to have a complete nightmare.

The American right-back was well out of sync while trying to show off his skills, dropping the ball and then struggling to flick it back up again.

There are other clips of him getting it right but Dest will likely be wanting to forget this particular part of his first day as a Blaugrana player.

Of course we don't judge players on how many keepy-uppies they can do while the cameras roll and it's bizarre that these presentations are still a thing.

But there's been so much hilarity involving Barca players in their unveilings - with Martin Braithwaite, Paulinho and Ousmane Dembele just a few of the stars to embarass themselves a tad.

You can even throw Marco Asensio and Theo Hernandez into the mix because they too were made to look rubbish at their Real Madrid presentations.

Dest, meanwhile, takes the No.2 shirt vacated by Nelson Semedo and becomes the first ever American to sign for Barcelona.
