Sam Allardyce Wants To Doom England To A Life Of Injuries

Sam Allardyce Wants To Doom England To A Life Of Injuries

Isn't Jack Wilshere enough punishment?

Sam Allardyce's appointment as England manager came with a mixed reaction but it's happened and now fans might as well get behind him, surely he can't make any decision as daft as making Harry Kane take all corners and free kicks? Hold on! He wants to employ Arsenal's sports therapist?!?

Look there's a few things you probably shouldn't do in the world of football, employ Harry Redknapp to look after your accounts, ask an Englishman to give you advice on taking penalties, ask a Manchester United fan for directions in Manchester, talk to a Chelsea fan about football before 2003 or get anyone from Arsenal to help with the fitness of your players!

Whatever is going down at the Emirates tends to lead to players being crippled in some way or other. Any player with a history of injuries at Arsenal will suddenly be fine after leaving and anyone who is normally injury free will never be the same again, Danny Welbeck springs to mind.

The former Bolton manager wants to bring 'world renowned muscle expert' Takahiro Yamamoto into the England fold. Yamamoto works with Arsenal as a sports therapist and also worked part-time with Italy under Antonio Conte which is why Arsene Wenger is okay with him doing a similar role for England.

The Japanese fitness coach has previously worked with Allardyce at Bolton and West Ham and would work with the Three Lions on injury prevention although despite being a soft tissue expert he doesn't seem to be able to prevent injuries at the Emirates.

Despite my criticism, which I'm sure you'll agree is hardly going to affect a world renowned expert in the field and is just for dramatic effect/artists license, Yamamoto is very highly thought of at his previous clubs and at Arsenal.

Still though next time an England player is injured for your club you'll know who to blame, especially if you support Arsenal...
