Following his switch from Championship side Aston Villa to Middlesbrough, Rudy Gestede graced the red shirt by making his Boro Premier League debut as a substitute.

But while Gestede and Co. secured a point away at Watford, the big target man set an unwanted and pretty embarrassing league record.

The Benin frontman replaced Cristhian Stuani past the hour mark though never threatened in front of goal, yet he did go home with a milestone.

According to OptaJoe, Gestede became the first player to have featured in 32 (!!) consecutive Premier League games without a bloody win.

Gestede sealed a move back to the England's top flight following Aitor Karanka snapping him up despite finding the net a measly five times last campaign as Villa eventually got relegated.

When was he last in a winning side?

Well, you have to date back all the way to the opening game of last season for his last league victory. Villa beat Bournemouth 1-nil thanks to a goal from the man himself.

Surely a league win is just around the corner, right?!
