Calvin Andrew has learned his fate for the horrific elbow he hit Oldham's Peter Clarke with in a recent League One game.
Andrew has been served a 12 match suspension - one of the longest in English football history. The ban is a game longer than the 11 match suspension Paolo Di Canio was given for pushing referee Paul Allcock to the ground in 1997.
Watching the above footage, it's easy to see why the FA have been so strict with their punishment, which is almost double the eight games Ben Thatcher was suspended for after he elbowed Pedro Mendes during a game between Portsmouth and Manchester City in 2006.
