Hakim Ziyech and Noussair Mazraoui both observed Ramadan during Ajax's Champions League semi-final second leg clash against Tottenham.

Muslims all over the world are fasting for Ramadan including Ziyech and Mazraoui.

Ziyech and Mazraoui abstained from eating and drinking on Wednesday during Ajax's European fixture with the pair of Moroccans breaking fast in the 24th minute of the match.

They refueled and continued the game with Ziyech scoring just 11 minutes after taking in food and water.

Massive respect to Ziyech and Mazraoui.

Football fans on social media also appreciated their incredible feat.

Ziyech, 26, has been influential for Ajax in the Champions League. He's weighed in with goals and assists as he enjoys a superb campaign.

He's bagged 21 goals and 18 assists in all competitions, including three goals in the Champions League.

What's more, only Lionel Messi (8) has been directly involved in more goals in the Champions League knockout stages than Ziyech this term (5 - three goals and two assists), per OptaJoe.

The left-footed wonder is available for just £25 million. Yes, twenty-five million!

Naturally, following his heroics in the Champions League, Ziyech has been strongly linked with a move away from Amsterdam with the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested in snapping him up.
