Barcelona have 'interfered' in Adnan Januzaj's contract renewal at Real Sociedad and are 'working' to sign the former Manchester United winger, according to reports in Spain.
The 26-year-old, who arrived on the scene as a teenager at Old Trafford, made a huge impact when David Moyes handed him his debut against Wigan in the Community Shield.
Two months later, he was handed his first start for the club against Sunderland and scored a brace as United came from behind to win 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.
Despite making 35 appeaances in the 2013/14 campaign, things never quite worked out for the Belgian winger, who was loaned out to Borussia Dortmund the following season.

Eventually, after another loan move to Sunderland, he was sold to Real Sociedad in 2017 for a reported £9.8 million.
Januzaj has established himself as a first-team regular at the La Liga club, although he hasn't quite lived up to those hefty expectations during his days in Manchester. That being said, Barcelona are reportedly interested in his services.
Spanish journalist Lluís Canut via SPORT claim the Catalan club are 'working' to sign the player. In fact, they have 'interfered' in his contract renewal with Sociedad after being convinced it was the right way forward.

Now, it appears the emergence of Barca has changed everything for Januzaj as he considers his future.
Xavi's side will be hoping the Belgian could make a difference as they continue to struggle in the league.
Do you think a move to Barca is the way forward for Januzaj?
