Phil Jones' horror-show defending proved to be costly as Sheffield United opened the scoring against an underwhelming Manchester United at Bramall Lane.
The 27-year-old Man United defender had been sidelined this season with hamstring problems and last played in his side's 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League last month.
But Jones' first Premier League start of the season ended in misery when he was one-on-one with Lys Mousset on the right.

The English centre-back tried to clear the ball and was sent flying to the floor by the 23-year-old French forward, who charged into the area to set up John Lundstram.
David de Gea saved the 25-year-old Sheffield United midfielder's strike, but the rebound came off John Fleck and went flying into the Spanish shot-stopper's net.

And United fans wasted no time in flocking to Twitter to slam Jones for his calamitous error.
The Blades head into half-time holding a 1-0 lead.

Full-time result: Manchester United almost completed a sensational comeback at Bramall Lane.
Lys Mousset scored early in the second half before Brandon Williams, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford all scored for the Red Devils in under 10 minutes.
But the Red Devils were denied a memorable win as Oli McBurnie scored a late equaliser to salvage a 3-3 draw for Sheffield United.
