A video of Cristiano Ronaldo's performances, both on and off the pitch, during Juventus' memorable two-leg tie against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League is still incredible.

On February 20, 2019, the Spanish side claimed a huge 2-0 victory over Serie A champions Juve in the first leg of their last-16 clash at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Two late goals from Jose Giminez and Diego Godin sealed a historic win against the Italian giants and well, Atletico fans rightly got carried away with the shock result.

Both during and after the game, plenty of Atletico supporters taunted Ronaldo. "Cry, cry, go to Turin and cry!" said one Madrid fan outside the stadium after the full-time whistle, while another said: "Bye bye to Italy and don't come back!"

And in the press area that night, Ronaldo memorably raised his hand to the Spanish press to remind them how many trophies he had won in the competition.

While doing so, he also refreshed their memory of how many Los Rojiblancos had lifted down the years.

Three weeks later, on March 12th, Ronaldo got his sweet revenge by scoring a hat-trick against Diego Simeone's side, with Juventus eventually winning the two-legged tie 3-2 on the night.

He later called it "a magical night" after his side overturned the two-goal deficit.

"It was always going to be a special night - and it was, not only for the goals, but for the team," Ronaldo told Juve's official website. "This is the mentality of champions, this is the journey to follow. We enjoyed a magical night."

In fact, before kick-off he told friends and family that he would score a hat-trick against the La Liga side, according to Spanish publication Marca.

It may have been two years since Ronaldo silenced the Madrid critics but a video of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and his exploits that night have recently gone viral.

The video titled 'best Ronaldo video ever made' picked up over 1.4 million views last month and it still gets shared on a regular basis on social media.
