Sky Sports News presenter Kirsty Gallacher was forced to come off air on Tuesday after collapsing 18 minutes into an hour-long show.
Gallacher was seen slurring her words during the show, which sparked a number of social media users to speculate her sudden departure, with several Twitter users suggesting she was under the influence of alcohol.
Her spokesperson cleared up the story and confirmed she was suffering from exhaustion mixed with a viral infection.

She told Mail Online: 'She categorically was not drunk. Blood and urine tests at hospital showed no alcohol in her system.
"She was just feeling terrible on her way to work. Doctors think it's extreme exhaustion mixed with a viral infection. She was absolutely taken under by it."

The 40-year-old uploaded a picture the previous night with her agent and PR team which began the rumours, but she later confirmed she was suffering from a "nasty virus".
After her spokeswoman confirmed the news, Gallacher herself tweeted about the incident and thanked West Middlesex hospital in the process.
Get well soon, Kirsty.
