Former Arsenal Player Training With Club, Fans Brilliantly Say The Same Thing

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has completed a club record transfer to Arsenal, and could he be swiftly followed by a former player?

After swapping Alexis Sanchez for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Arsene Wenger continues to bolster his squad with the addition of the lethal Gabonese striker, who's finalised a reported £56 million transfer.

And following the embarrassing 3-1 Premier League defeat to Swansea City on Tuesday night, is Wenger set to remain in the transfer market?

Well, ex-midfielder in the shape of Alex Song is currently training with Arsenal, and fans want him to sign for the club.

While singling out Granit Xhaka to be replaced by the Cameroonian international.

Song, who's been told to find a new team by Rubin Kazan, posted a picture of himself in Arsenal gear, training at their London base, sparking social media into overdrive.

The Arsenal faithfuls reacted brilliantly:

Song, 30, left the Emirates in 2012, signing for Barcelona where he won the La Liga title in his debut season. Though he only lasted one more campaign before leaving the Camp Nou.

He returned to the Premier League on loan to West Ham, then switched to Rubin Kazan.
