Ederson was denied the opportunity to take a penalty by Bernardo Silva in Manchester City's Premier League clash against Tottenham on Saturday.
Ilkay Gundogan became the third City player to fail from the spot-kick after he fired over the bar in his side's 4-1 victory at Liverpool last Sunday.

Gundogan earned City a penalty against Spurs after turning inside on the left side of the box, only for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to make contact with the ensuing challenge.
Ederson was immediately spotted coming out of his own half and making his way casually down to the Spurs box.
However, the 27-year-old Brazilian shot-stopper was sent back by Silva as Rodri stepped up for the penalty.
Ederson's snub left many fans to flock to social media to express their disappointment at not seeing the City 'keeper have his chance.
Rodri fired low and hard from the spot-kick and was fortunate that Hugo Lloris' hand wasn't hard enough as the ball flipped up into the roof of the net.
