Gareth Bale's incredibly unenthusiastic reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo's goal last night has certainly sparked a reaction, as talk continues about his immediate future at the Bernabeu.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move away for some time, with rumours suggesting he may return to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.

To be honest, it doesn't look like Bale is enjoying his time in Madrid and an incident on the substitutes bench against Juventus on Tuesday night sums up his current mood perfectly.

Ronaldo prodded home in the 3rd minute after Isco's delicious cross to give Real an important away goal, and the majority of his teammates jumped up in celebration.

Bale, on the other hand, didn't even bother celebrating as the likes of Marco Asensio screamed in delight. He didn't even raise a smile.

Surely something is going on behind the scenes here. Is he happy at Los Blancos?

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo's ridiculous overhead kick against Juventus was so good that the home fans felt obliged to applaud it.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner opened the scoring just three minutes into the Champions League quarter final first leg, becoming the first player to score in 10 consecutive games in the competition's history.

Having seen one of the all-time greats score one of the greatest goals in Champions League history, the home fans at the Allianz erupted in applause - a rare moment in football.

You know a goal is special when the opposition supporters react in that manner.

Zinedine Zidane's reaction further underlined what a ridiculous goal we had just witnessed, just don't ask Gareth Bale what he thinks of CR7's goal.

Do you think Gareth Bale will leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window? Who do you think he should join?
