The ex-Barcelona star's current deal with PSG will expire next summer, with recent reports suggesting that Neymar has put talks 'on hold' over a new contract.

Giuly has admitted that he hopes Neymar will stay at PSG, saying that a new deal would show his "love and commitment to the club."

The former France international said: "Of course, that is an important message for us, for his teammates and for the supporters.

"He shows his love and commitment to the club, it is something very important."

Neymar became the most expensive player in football history after PSG splashed out a world-record fee of £200m to sign him from Barcelona in 2017.

The PSG winger has made 105 appearances for the French club and scored 83 times and registered 47 assists.
