Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has hailed Neymar as one of the top three players in the world.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar, 27, wants to leave the French capital this summer and has been heavily linked with Madrid and Barcelona.
While Ramos refused to talk about the idea of Neymar being in the Los Blancos squad after the transfer window shuts on 2nd September, he praised the Brazilian winger as being one of the best in the world.
"Neymar is a top player, and within the top three in the world," the 33-year-old Spaniard said.
"However, talking about these things shows a lack of respect for the great clubs involved.
"Transfers like this are always talked about at Real Madrid, particularly when the transfer window remains open.
"But we must remain focused with the players we have."
Neymar has been left out of PSG's opening two clashes of the season and has been subjected to abuse from fans.
During the French champions' match with Nimes earlier this month, the PSG supporters held a banner that told Neymar to "f**k off" and also chanted "son of a b***h."
And a more recent incident involved an employee of the Parisian club targeting the Brazil international with abuse when he rocked up for training.
PSG sporting director Leonardo Araujo has been clear that the former Barcelona star could leave this summer should the right offer be made for him.
And PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has claimed that Neymar is "ready to play," but admitted that only happens once he has sorted out his future with the club.
"Perhaps you have to speak to Leonardo," the German said ahead of PSG's clash with Toulouse.
"Neymar's had a good week [training] with all the squad, a week with a lot of work and intensity."
