Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Manchester United skipper Harry Maguire have been named as the most valuable players for their respective clubs this season.

Liverpool's blistering Premier League title challenge has them leading defending champions Manchester City by a whopping 25 points.

But England's top-flight league has been suspended since early March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sky Sports has now crunched the numbers and worked out which players have been the standout performers for their clubs.

Aubameyang, 30, has scored 20 times across all competitions and is second in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

The Gunners star has scored 11 of his 17 league goals from the wing, with Sky Sports saying 'Sadio Mane's goals have been worth more points to his team across the division.'

Maguire, who became the world's most expensive defender when he signed for United last summer, became captain in his first season at Old Trafford.

And Sky Sports points out that the 27-year-old England international has kept 11 clean sheets in his last 15 starts in all competitions, with Maguire being the 'stats leaders in many key categories for his team.'
