If there's been anything that has remained constant over the past decade for Arsenal, it's that their Premier League title challenge will usually fade around March and that they will be plagued by injuries.

While this season it still remains to be seen how the Gunners' title challenge will hold up over the next few months, the injury curse has reared it's ugly head once again with reports in The Mirror claiming that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could miss the remainder of the campaign.

The England international suffered knee and ankle damage during Arsenal's Champions League game with Barcelona on Tuesday night and it is believed the scans of the injury will reveal that The Ox is to be sidelined for the rest of the season, a lay off which will significantly damage his chances of making Roy Hodgson's England squad for Euro 2016.

Oxlade-Chamberlain endured another frustrating night before being substituted on Tuesday, missing a golden opportunity to give Arsenal the lead in the first half. The match summed up his career at the Emirates so far, with much promise ultimately coming to nothing.

West Ham are rumoured to be interested in the former Southampton youngster and are prepared to make a bid this Summer. The move may be the best hope of reviving a currently floundering career.
