Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is an assist machine and a striker's dream to play with. His vision and weight of pass sees him create a plethora of clear-cut chances for his teammates.
Yet surprisingly, the German is nowhere to be seen in the assist charts in the Premier League this season. Ozil isn't in the top 10 and it might have something to do with the fact that he is actually yet to record an assist so far this term.
That's not to say he's not contributing, Ozil has scored twice for his side this season but has been unable to build on his 19 assists last season in the top flight.

There are two other Arsenal players in the top 10, published by the Daily Express, though.
Santi Cazorla has two assists two his name this season, while Alex Iwobi's rise to prominence continues when it comes to stats; he has record three assists in the Premier League so far this season - the same number as his Nigerian compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho.
Kevin De Bruyne, prior to his injury, was in blistering form for Manchester City this season and he leads the way in terms of assists; with four in his Premier League outings.
