Memphis Still Only Wearing First Name On Shirt After Lyon Move
Memphis Depay may have swapped clubs this week but the Dutch winger isn't for swapping the name on the back of his shirt any time soon, with the former Manchester United man still opting for just his forename on the back of his jersey.
When Memphis arrived at Old Trafford, a few eyebrows were raised at the fact the ex-PSV winger was wearing his first name rather than his last on the back of his shirt.
Here's a flimpse of some of the skills Memphis will be hoping to display in Lyon...
It transpired that the Dutchman didn't adorn his kits with the Depay name as it is his father's surname, who he has not talked to since he was 17.
While Denis Depay denies abandoning Memphis and his family years ago, the wounds have yet to heal for Lyon's latest signing, who will now wear 'Memphis 9' on the back of his new kit.

Memphis initially looked as though he would be well worth the £25m United parted with to secure his signature from PSV, but after a promising start, the youngster stuttered throughout his debut season and barely featured during Jose Mourinho's reign. It'll be interesting to see if he can revive his career in Ligue Un without as much pressure on his shoulders.
