Manchester United star Mason Greenwood has finally been handed a game face on FIFA 22.

Despite being one of the best youngsters in the Premier League, if not the world, Greenwood did not have an official face on EA Sports' football franchise last year.

Even the introduction of the next-generation consoles didn't seen an update to Greenwood's face and he continued to look like a generic player from PES back in the day.

Much to the frustration of fans, EA said that the COVID-19 pandemic was the reason they were unable to scan Greenwood in FIFA 21.

However, thankfully all is well in FIFA 22 as leaks online from the beta show the 19-year-old with a brand new face that looks exactly like the real thing.

Greenwood's fellow United youngster Amad Diallo has also been given a new face, as has Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka.

Konami and PES/eFootball were first to give Greenwood a proper face and they still might have the edge on EA in terms of likeness displayed in this instance.

FIFA 22, which will include all-new hypermotion technology and a slew of gameplay changes, is to be released worldwide on all consoles on October 1.
