Scholes' name is synonymous with fellow legendary Premier League midfielders Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard and the never ending debate as to who is the best of the three.
However one Liverpool fan has made his feelings clear that Scholes doesn't belong in the debate and thinks that current Reds' captain Henderson is actually a better player.
"My unpopular opinion is that Paul Scholes is completely over-hyped and Jordan Henderson is a better player," Craig said.
"I am sick of listening to the 'Gerrard-Scholes-Lampard' debate; Scholes doesn't belong in that.
"Jordan Henderson has been a career of progression. He led the English under-21s, he captained the English national team.
"The man dominates in midfield, can play in any position and every manager he has worked under trusts him implicitly.
"Scholes is nowhere near fit to lace even Jordan Henderson's boots. He's nothing but a ginger Mark Noble and that is my unpopular opinion."
As Ball Street also pointed out Scholes does have more Premier League winners medals than Henderson has Man of the Match awards, although the titles weren't all down to the former United player of course.
Henderson picked up his first league winner's medal last season as Jurgen Klopp's team ended Liverpool's long wait for the Premier League title.
There's no doubt how far the former Sunderland midfielder has come in the last few years under Jurgen Klopp, especially as previous manager Brendan Rodgers was going to let him leave Anfield, and he is now integral to both his club side and Gareth Southgate's England team.
Despite all that though it's worth remembering just how good Scholes was in a brilliant United team over a long period of time.
He won 11 league titles, two Champions Leagues, not appearing in one final, scored 107 Premier League goals and is an all time great.
