Lionel Messi had the chance to score his 31st La Liga hat-trick today when Barcelona were awarded a stoppage-time spot-kick, but he allowed Luis Suarez to take the penalty.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner struck twice in the 8-2 thumping of Huesca but elected to let Suarez join him on a brace for the game after the Uruguayan won the penalty - something you wouldn't always expect the likes of Neymar or Cristiano Ronaldo to do.
It's yet another selfless act from Messi, who has showed how a proper captain deals with these types of situations on a number of occasions.

But the Blaugrana's quality was too much at the Nou Camp and they knocked in eight in a La Liga game for the first time since 2011.
