Kevin De Bruyne's 'weak' foot is genuinely better than the strongest of most players.

The Manchester City talisman put his side 1-0 up on the night and 3-0 up on aggregate in the Champions League round of 16 contest against Borussia Monchengladbach.

In the 12th minute,Riyad Mahrez fed the Belgian outside the area and he unleashed a rasping left-footed drive that rippled the top corner of Yann Sommer's net.

De Bruyne has scored left-footed belters against Leicester City and Chelsea in the past and proved what a complete player he is yet again at the Puskas Arena in Hungary this evening.

It was the perfect strike to mark City's 100th goal in all competitions this season. Even more impressive, De Bruyne has now scored a ridiculous 25 goals from outside of the box since joining City - the most of any Premier League player in that period.

City doubled their lead moments later when Phil Foden set off on a sublime dribble through the middle and laid on a perfect pass for Ilkay Gundogan's 15th goal of the season.
