Joao Felix has officially signed for Atletico Madrid and the Portuguese wonderkid has already been handed Antoine Griezmann's No.7 shirt.
Griezmann, who has scored 133 goals in 257 appearances for Atletico, hasn't officially left the Spanish capital yet but is widely expected to move to Barcelona in a £107 million move.
And Felix being given his squad number straight from the bat would suggest that the Frenchman will definitely be moving onto new pastures news after outlining his wish to leave at the end of last season.
Not only giving João Félix number 7 before Griezmann has officially left, but Atletico well and truly throwing the finest insult with that last line. Not a club legend. #JoãoFélix #Atleti pic.twitter.com/ndO5qNbwl4

This is the second instance of savagery from Atleti this summer after they gave new signing Marcos Llorente the No.14 worn by Rodri before the 23-year old's transfer to Manchester City was completed.
After a superb 20-goal breakthrough campaign at Benfica, 19-year old Felix joins Diego Simeone's side in a deal worth €126 million and has signed a whopping seven-year contract at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Born in Viseu in central Portugal, Felix was in the famed Porto academy for seven years but did not make the grade at the Dragons.
As per Forbes he was released at the age of 15 for having a 'slight frame' and it's fair to say that Porto, despite inserting a sell-on clause in his contract, have been made to rue that decision.
João Félix was released from Porto as they believed he was too skinny to develop further.

Will Felix light up La Liga? Is he the man to replace Griezmann?
