Adriano Is Returning To PES 2019 And It Looks Like His 99 Shot Power Is Too

While his potential was never quite fulfilled in his career, Adriano Leite Ribeiro will always have be a Pro Evolution legend thanks to his insane card on PES 6.

Having scored 23 goals in just 37 appearances for Parma, Adriano not only returned to Inter Milan - he also became joint cover star alongside John Terry on PES 6 - and was one of the deadliest players on the game.

'The Emperor' was equipped with a card which resembled a demi-god: an unreal shot power of 99, 90 attack and not to mention a 98 balance.

Basically, your whole strategy when playing as Inter was to give it to Adriano and shoot on sight, regularly unleashing a venomous left-footed piledriver into the top bins.

Though Konami have lost the rights to the Champions League and their Borussia Dortmund deal has ended, they have David Beckham as a playable character - which is a very big coup indeed.

And yesterday, they announced the arrival of several Nerazzurri legends in the upcoming game - Youri Djorkaeff, Esteban Cambiasso, Alvaro Recoba, and of course, the main man Adriano.

And rather excitingly, the official PES account has been dropping plenty of hints to suggest the Brazilian boss will have his infamous 99 shot power for old times sake.

It just has to be done, doesn't it? You just can't have Adriano without his godly powerful piledrivers, plus it will definitely give old school PES fans reason to purchase the game.

Looks like I'll be investing in both football video games this year...
