Manchester United legend Roy Keane has left fans on Instagram in stitches after he told drivers to 'run him over' if they spotted him cycling in lycra.
The 49-year-old Irishman, known for his no-nonsense attitude, stunned fans when he surprisingly signed up to the social media platform earlier this month.
And Keane has already amassed a following of 1.2m Instagram users, despite not following a single person on the social networking platform.

The former United skipper took to Instagram to share a cheeky selfie of himself wearing a helmet as he appeared to be out on a bike ride.
Keane poked fun at himself in the Instagram caption, specifically his choice of outfit for his bike ride.
The former Republic of Ireland international wrote: "I'll wear the helmet but if you see me wearing lycra, run me over."
Keane's latest post has once again left fans praising his presence on Instagram, with one fan saying he "already owns the app."
