Former Manchester United midfielder Anderson has reportedly turned down the chance to return to the Premier League.

The Brazilian, who joined United for a £20 million transfer fee back in 2007, recently suffered relegation to Serie B with Internacional in his native Brazil and has had plenty of offers.

Globo Esporte are reporting that the 28-year old has had an offer to return to Portugal with Braga, as well as a chance to play in the Premier League again with Middlesbrough.

And he is also one of many players to receive interest from China.

Yet Anderson is reportedly not keen on any of the offers he has on the table and would prefer to stay with Inter and help them return to the Brazilian Serie A at the first time of asking.

Speaking after the club's relegation a couple of weeks back, he said:

"All the players are culpable, we know this. We just have to think about the year to come and getting Inter out of Serie B."

It's certainly a shame that we won't be seeing the football genius Anderson and his wonderful dreadlocks lighting up the Premier League once again.

Anderson is said to be Internacional's highest earner and is currently on a yearly salary of £1.5 million.
