We've all heard about clubs signing a player then immediately offloading him normally a loan deal to provide them of first team football, but this particular case may be a first.

Egyptian side Al Ittihad have terminated the contract of striker Samuel Nlend just four days after signing him from Union Douala because of a positive for HIV result, according to KingFut.

Despite announcing the deal for the Cameroonian, a failed medical has prompted the club decision to terminate his contract.

The 21-year-old has won five caps for his national side, opening his account by bagging a goal in their 3-1 win over the DR Congo at this year's African Nations Championship.

Nlend's chances of landing a new club appear to be slim as a result of the positive condition not to mention the difficulty in acquiring a work permit.
