Premier League top scorer Diego Costa is the latest high-profile player to receive a massive offer from the Chinese Super League.

According to The Sun, Tianjin Quanjian, who have big bucks available like everyone else in the Chinese Super League, have already made a £50 million offer.

Quanjian are managed to be 2006 World Cup and Ballon d'Or winner Fabio Cannavaro and were recently promoted to the top tier of Chinese football.

And they want to make a major statement by snapping up Costa, one of the best strikers in world football.

The report that Tianjin's £50m offer for Costa, £18 million more than what Chelsea paid to sign him from Atletico Madrid in 2014, comprised of absurd wages of £480,000 a week.

Costa's former teammate Oscar has already sealed a stunning £52 million move to Shanghai SIPG to link up with Andre Villas-Boas and Tianjin are reportedly preparing an £75 million bid for Costa.

Chelsea are desperate to keep hold of their main man and plan on improving his £150,000-a-week contract by increasing his wages to £200,000 and extending his stay with the club.

But with such crazy money being thrown around in the Chinese Super League, one can only expect more big names to move to the Far East in the future, following the big-money additions of Carlos Tevez and Oscar.
