As well as the CSL side, his former team Atletico Madrid are also very keen on re-signing the striker. Despite the club being engulfed in a transfer ban, they're preparing a measly offer to lure him back to Madrid.

The La Liga club can still sign players though are unable to register them in domestic or European competition. They had hoped to sign Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette yet appear to have lost out on him to Arsenal.

The Gunners are expected to tie the deal imminently for a club record transfer. As a result, Atleti have now turned their attention to the want away Chelsea man.
