Danny Rose's heated meeting with Jose Mourinho is shown in episode five of the Amazon 'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur' documentary.
The series has captured Mourinho holding personal chats in his office with the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Eric Dier but the one with Rose was the most intense by a long way.
After only starting one Premier League fixture in the defeat to Liverpool, the former England international went to see his manager to discuss his lack of game-time and sought to find out why he wasn't being selected - or as he put it, find out "what the problem is".

It was awkward from the get-go, Mourinho asking Rose what he meant, who responded saying: "You know exactly what I mean, how I'm being treated."
"I was very excited when you came as manager, but if you don't want me to play, I'd rather you just tell me now, and I'll stay at home gaffer, and I'll train at home.
Mourinho explains he wants to be "open as possible because you deserve that" and states that he was "fantastic in training" prior to the game against Liverpool, where he felt he didn't play well.
Danny Rose what a guy :joy:. No wonder we didn't sign him for #NUFC. Guy thinks he's prime Maldini . pic.twitter.com/IIC821o1K1

He then went on to say that Japhet Tanganga's performances were the main reason as to why Rose wasn't getting a look-in but the 30-year old wasn't having it.
Rose claimed other players have been "s***" in training and matches but continue to be selected and ended the conversation stating he would be going to see chairman Daniel Levy, before walking out.
He added: "I respect what you're saying about I didn't play well against Liverpool, which is true, but I play once every four weeks.
"Do you want me to be man of the match and give my best performance when I play one game and then I don't play again for three or four weeks?"
"The defence has kept two clean sheets, they play every game. It's not fair.
"I wasn't good against Liverpool, it wasn't my best game, you are right and I respect what you say but other people have been s*** in training, s*** in games, but are in the squad every game. It's not fair.
"It's facts and the whole changing room knows it's facts. I'm going to see Daniel as well so when Daniel's in tell him I'm looking for him."
Danny Rose did what 0.00000000000001% of pros do. He went to his gaffer and told the truth backed up by suggesting the dressing room could back him up.

Jose does what a lot of managers do, can't even look man in the eyes.
Huge credit to Rose. https://t.co/9jqgTKSvIV
Rose was subsequently loaned out to Newcastle United in January, making a total of nine appearances for the Magpies.
