Cristiano Ronaldo's final motivational message to the Real Madrid squad was captured on camera as part of documentary.

'In the heart of the Thirteenth' follows Los Blancos' journey to an unprecedented third straight Champions League triumph and an 13th European Cup in total.

The official documentary will be released on Real Madrid TV next Thursday but a spine-tingling trailer has already been released on the club's YouTube channel and it features a very simple but effective rallying cry from Ronaldo in his final game for the club.

With the team in the dressing room and getting ready to take on Liverpool at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Ronaldo gees his peers up by saying: "Play, win, and make history three times in a row, eh?"

The last word went to captain and Mo Salah's best mate Sergio Ramos, who got the squad well up for another final with his spurring monologue.

"Let's enjoy another final and let's agree to do it for those who have supported us," he cried.

"Let's win. "Let's go. One, two, three Madrid!"

Aided by Salah's injury in the first half and Loris Karius' errors in between the sticks, Real went on to win 3-1 courtesy of a goal from Karim Benzema and a brace from substitute Gareth Bale - who scored the greatest goal in Champions League final history minutes after coming on.

Ronaldo, despite winning yet his fifth Champions League, was coy about his future after the match and after the World Cup, left for Juventus in a surprise £99 million move.

He's yet to score a competitive goal for the Bianconeri, having fired blanks in his first three Serie A games.
