The Crazy Stat That Shows How Devastating Liverpool Have Been In The Champions League

The Reds' are unbeaten in the competition this year but that's not the most impressive stat...

Liverpool completely blew Roma away in the Champions League semi-final first leg at Anfield last night but it actually didn't come as much of a surprise because of how irresistible Jurgen Klopp's side have been in Europe this term.

In Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, they have arguably the best front three in world football at present and literally every team to have played Liverpool in the Champions League this season have been destroyed by the trio.

One stat in particular highlights just how devastating the Reds' have been - that being they have scored at least five goals against every side they have come up against.

German side Hoffenheim were dispatched 6-3 on aggregate in the play-off, before Sevilla conceded and Porto conceded five, Maribor shipped ten and Spartak were breached eight times in the group stages.

Then, the five-time European champions blitzed Premier League champions Manchester City over two legs by a surprise 5-1 aggregate scoreline in the quarter final stage, before going goal-crazy yet again last night.

Roma's two goals late on gives them a slim chance of replicating their Barcelona heroics at the Stadio Olimpico.

They have yet to concede a goal at home in the Champions League but stopping this free-flowing Liverpool side from scoring is a whole new challenge.

Will Liverpool go all the way and claim a sixth European Cup?
